# Update themes and plugins automatically

 * Hi,
 * Since I installed WordFense, I will receive alerts on Themes and Plugins updates
   nearly every day. Is it possible to setup so that all the themes and plugins 
   will be updated automatically, just like WordPress itself?

 * Wordfence doesn’t have an option to automatically update other plugins or themes,
   but WordPress itself does. They describe how to adjust automatic update settings
   here:

 * See the section titled “Plugin & Theme Updates via Filter”.
 * There is some risk to enabling automatic updates for all plugins and themes —
   if there is a problem with one of the updates, or if a plugin/theme update causes
   a conflict with other parts of your site, you wouldn’t see the problem as quickly
   as you would if you manually updated.
