update stops when unpacking

    When i try to update wordpress or even plugin than i see: 

    Downloading update from http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/hello-dolly.1.6.zip…

Unpacking the update…

    … and nothing else for many minutes.

    Sometimes it says just belove the “unpacking the update” line :

    Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /home/embroid1/public_html/e-patches.com/wp-admin/includes/class-wp-filesystem-direct.php on line 348

    I use letshost.ie for my website hosting.

    I have another installation of WordPress at the same hosting and for the another installation everything goes smoothly.

    What to do ?

    Have you spoken to your hosts about this? It could still be a server issue.

    I will speak to them. This is not free hosting. It is 50EUR per year so this is not even cheap hosting.

    I would understand this problem if all WordPress instillations at this host will make the same problem, but it occurs only for this one.

    Updating of simple plugin is always much less than 30 seconds.

    One more thing is, the installation has been moved from another host to lesthost.ie just a few days ago. Maybe the problem is because that movement. ?

    I found the sollution.
    Firstly I updated my wordpress manually but plugins still wont update.
    I have removed all files from /wp-content/upgrade/ and now I can use automated plugins update.
    Now I am waiting for the new version of wordpress to check automated update of the core.
