    Hi Lighty,

    That’s odd, it might help if I could have a look at your website. It sounds like there’s some kind of javascript error on your page, or the slideshow is overlapped by some CSS.

    If you’re looking for a slideshow version that doesn’t work around the ‘content filter’, you should install version 2.1.3, altough I would much rather help you get the newest version running.

    Best regards,
    Stefan

    Hi Stefan

    Thank you for your support. Here’s the website: http://zinsliarchitekten.ch/neubau-sonnrain-4-6252-dagmersellen/

    In the meantime i try version 2.1.3.
    Edit: Version 2.1.3 -> same problem 🙁

    Best regards,
    Lighty

    Hi Lighty,

    The slideshow tells me that you’re still on version 2.1.10, do you have some kind of page caching enabled? Like the WP Super Cache plugin or a similar plugin. If you disable it and you have version 2.1.3 of Slideshow installed, version 2.1.3 should be shown, instead of version 2.1.10 that’s shown now.

    The error shown on your page says that jQuery is not present, jQuery is needed to run the slideshow and it should be located in [yoursite]/wp-includes/js/jquery.js.

    Best regards,
    Stefan

    Hi Stefan

    No, i have no cache plugin installed.

    I deinstalled version 2.1.10 and tried with 2.1.3. Because it didn’t work i reinstalled version 2.1.10.
    Now i tried several things:

    – I have installed now 2.1.3. -> fail

    – I set a direct-link to the jquery into the head area. -> fail

    – My jquery was not located in the link you posted. My wordpressinstallation is in a sub-folder called “wordpress” and the jquery file in a folder called “jquery”: [yoursite]/wordpress/wp-includes/js/jquery/jquery.js.

    So first i copied the file “jquery.js” out of the folder to:
    [yoursite]/wordpress/wp-includes/js/jquery.js. -> fail

    And then i copied the jquery-file out of the wordpressinstallation to:
    [yoursite]/wp-includes/js/jquery.js. -> fail

    Nothing worked. And i don’t know how to solve it.
    Maybe you should know i also update the wordpress installation to current version…

    Thx for futher support 🙂

    I see we’ve just made some progress, since the javascript error thrown has changed to Uncaught TypeError: Object [object Object] has no method 'slideshow_script'. This means the jQuery script is now in the right place and loaded from [yoursite]/wordpress/wp-includes/js/jquery/jquery.js.

    The slideshow is still not working though, because all scripts (including the slideshow script) are cancelled when the plugin ‘eigenes slider plugin’ loads its own jQuery script into the page, below the slideshow script. If you remove the ‘eigenes slider plugin’, any slideshow version will work on your website.

    Thx man! You are a god!
    I try now to update to 2.1.10.
    Maybe it works now. Else i change back to 2.1.3

    Many thanks 🙂
