# Update Service Clarification

 * How many services should I use?
 * On my Dashboard/Writing Options screen, in the Update Services box, a single 
   default service is listed: ‘http://rpc.pingomatic.com/’ but the Codex link to
   Update Services lists a lot more of them.
 * Is pingomatic enough, or should I add other services?
    If so, can anyone suggest
   which ones to add?

 * pingomatic is enough unless you absolutely need something else. Then it is not.

 * If you were writing in Japanese, then you would maybe want to add a Japanese 
   one, or something like that…
