    A client of mine received the following email:

    Dear user

    A high-risk vulnerability on the site: databred.com, has been detected by the WordPress Security Team.

    The discovered Remote Code Execution (RCE) high-risk vulnerability on your site can lead to the execution of malicious code, endangering your privacy, user information, and overall site security.

    We strongly recommend you to apply the CVE-2024-46188 Patch as soon as possible, as we are diligently working to fix this critical security vulnerability in the next WordPress update.

    “lick the button below to download the plugin, and then proceed to install and activate it on your site. This guarantees a fast and straightforward defense against potential exploits and malicious actions tied to this vulnerability.”

    I told the client that is a scam but wanted to confirm here what said.
