Same problem here, I had to log in to the server and remove the plugin folder.
This is unacceptable. You need to test more before you issue an update.
Version 2.1.4 has been released and is available for download. This fixes the fatal errors, as well as the vanishing templates issue completely.
We are very sorry for the problems our update caused and we hope that the new version regains the trust we’ve lost.
