# Update Problems, Serious Problems

   to open another one, so here it is.
 * When I updated this afternoon, the site statistics amongst other tweaks stopped
   working. And when I tried to deactivate/re-activate, it wasn’t connected any 
   longer.
 * Then, I tried to reconnect to WordPress.com, and it gave me the following error:
 * Invalid request, please go back and try again.
    Error Code: invalid_client Error
   Message: Unknown client_id.
 * Hours later…
 * I tried to reactivate the plugin and again connect to WordPress.com, and got 
   the following error from CloudFlare, which I have used the entire time, so it
   cannot be the issue:
 * Error 520 Ray ID: 1c9442ef92ac0a00
    Web server is returning an unknown error
 * Now…
 * My stats are nothing but a spinning wheel, my widgets don’t work — i.e. recent

 * And now I need to add “will not allow me to update plugins” since I had another
   plugin that needed to be updated and I needed to deactivate jetpack in order 
   to do so.

 * Can you update to Jetpack 3.4.1 regarding some of your issues. From what I can
   see in our debug tools, deactivating and reactivating Jetpack should work, though
   it is possible CloudFlare is handling the connection process in an expected way.

   back. How do I deactivate this Plugin so I can install .1 to fix it?

   you try to log in to your site via FTP, delete the existing Jetpack plugin folder,
   and reinstall the plugin manually as explained here:
