Title: Update problems Last modified: July 26, 2021 --- # Update problems * [fesarlo42](https://wordpress.org/support/users/fesarlo42/) * (@fesarlo42) * [4 years, 10 months ago](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/update-problems-35/) * Hi, * I updated my UM plugin to the 2.2.0 version and I had the following problems: * 1 – No user could login. It said the password was incorrect although it was the correct one (admins could login without problem, and when I try to log a user in using the wordpress default from it also works) 2 – Related to the previous one, no new user could register because it said the passwords didn’t match even though they did. 3 – Forms pictograms are changed to wierd things (the question mark is now a credit card, the check mark is a flower…) 4 – At the user page the edit profile option under the gear icon is gone although my users have permission to edit their own profile (it was working fine before the update) 5 – When login out it does not redirect me to the home page (as it should and was doing correctly before the update). The url says that the page is the logout page but shows nothing but if I refresh the page than it goes to the home. 6 – When I try to personalize the profile form it doesn’t save my choice of not displaying the user description. * I tried deleting the plugin and reinstalling it but the issues remained. I also tried downgrading it to the previous version and the login/register related issues( numbers 1 and 2 above) were fixed, but the pictogram, edit, logout and profile form personalization issues remained. * Do you have any suggestion of things I could do to fix it? - This topic was modified 4 years, 10 months ago by [fesarlo42](https://wordpress.org/support/users/fesarlo42/).
