Just heads up when the recent update was rolled out this AM, I updated it and it actually crashed my site so I had to SSH in and delete the plugin.
Please check before releasing the updates

Hi there,
Thanks for bringing this to our attention, and I’m really sorry to hear that the recent update caused your site to crash.
We understand how frustrating that must have been — especially needing to SSH into your server to fix it. Our team takes plugin stability seriously, and we’d like to investigate this further. I have update the plugin at our site and everything is appearing fine on my site
To assist you further could you please share with us the necessary information below for us to investigate the issue further:
- System Status Report which you can find via WooCommerce > Status
- Fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.
Please use https://pastebin.com/ or https://gist.github.com/ and share a link to that paste in reply here. Once we have more information, we’ll be able to assist you further.
Also, to help isolate the issue, I recommend creating a staging site, deactivating all plugins except WooCommerce and the WooCommerce Stripe Gateway plugin, and then checking if the issue persists. I’m guessing there might be a conflict with another plugin on your site.
You can easily create a staging site using this plugin:

I would be glad to share logs but not publiciy so please provide me other way to share that
What happened when it crashed, the logs did logged then I just SSH to do like rm foldername and the wordpress works back as normal. So I’ll create a 2nd instance and install woo and install that so I dont want to mess with the current active site and let you know what it caused.
Hi @thedeafjoe,
I completely understand your concern. Unfortunately, there’s no alternative method to share the log directly outside the forum. However, one workaround is to upload the log to gist.github.com, then generate a temporary link using quickforget.com.
You can set the view limit to 3 so any of my colleagues who come across this thread can access it if needed. Once that’s done, simply share the QuickForget link here alongside your observation with the test you performed.
Hi,
I manage to get the logs and deleted the plugin then I notice they had update again on 7/01 and it seems fixed the problem. I’ll still pass along the log so you can figure it out or just move on because on our end, its running smoothly.
Hi @thedeafjoe
Thanks for the update, I’m really glad to hear things are running smoothly on your end now after the latest plugin update on July 1st. We appreciate you taking the time to gather the logs regardless — feel free to share them in case they help us trace what went wrong with the previous version.
If the WooCommerce Stripe Gateway plugin has been helpful and you’re happy with how things are working now, we’d truly appreciate it if you could leave us a quick 5-star review here: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/woocommerce-gateway-stripe/reviews/#new-post
Thanks again and wishing you smooth transactions ahead!
