Update or install isnt working

    Hi,

    Been using the gallery for a long time.

    This is the first time I am having problems with it.

    I updated my wordpress install to the latest version (3.9.1) then i updated nextgen too.

    It went through the update process and then told me that it had been successful and prompted me to return to the plugin page.

    In the menu the only link available under the gallery is for gallery Tags.

    Also the layout of the website has completely gone and it just looks like a text page.

    I then returned my website to the working version using a backup.

    This time I deleted the plugin and the re-installed it, and I got the same result.

    How can i update the plugin to work with the latest version of wordpress?

    @quiztoon – There is a conflict with at least one other active plugin, generally having to do with permissions (but we still have not pinpointed the root cause, yet).

    Please send us a Bug Report (http://www.nextgen-gallery.com/report-bug/ … please reference this topic) with your site specifics and ask for our external Reset Tool plugin. You will need to deactivate all of your plugins then reactivate NextGEN Gallery and activate the Reset Tool. You will have to then run the Reset Tool *twice*.
