• I really feel frustrated with WordPress for the first time in many years.

While I like the concept of the block editor, the accessibility issues I face as a user who is blind are just maddening.

I really like using the Genesis theme. I like the accessibility of the themes, but on the admin side as they make it possible to use the block editor to layout a page or post I find myself frustrated with the process, which in theory should be quick and easy.

I use NVDA and as I arrow down the new page screen I randomly get paragraph blocks added, I cannot tell any layout details of the columns block, and overall I’m left frustrated and wonder if I might not be better off using another platform after 15 years.

Please tell me that block editing is going to get better or that I’m overlooking something key.

I just want to independently work on my own website without waiting for help from friends or family.
