  • Same with me,

I have this issues with all jquery related functions.
The Site works with activated adblocker in firefox,
    but that’s a kind of funny…:D

Anyway, I’m interested in older versions too.

Disable the jQuery libraries from AdRotate settings and see if that helps.
Downgrading wont work since the database changed.

Disabled the 3 jquery options in Miscellaneous section of the settings,

    No effect.

Read about an update with a quick edit of,
tried this, but still no effect..

Do you have any more ideas?

I’m working on a few more tweaks which should be ready very soon.

    Good news 😉

    I’m with hermannloens.

    Arnan de Gans,

I’ve just updated the newer Version just now, and it’s still doing the same thing.

But when you say disable the “jQuery,” which one do you mean we’re supposed to disable?

    Include jQuery
    Include jQuery Tools
    Include jQuery ShowOff

(Also, could you please explain to mean simply to an non-tech average-joe what are these supposed to do anyway?)

The last update to did it, all jQuery functions are working.

Thank you for the improvement and the quick edit!

    same to me.

costum community theme slider will work with all jquery functions off.

    some adv. information:
i can activate (not really needed) Include jQuery and Include jQuery ShowOff – themeslider will work.

only with Include jQuery Tools slider disappear.

THen that plugin or theme already includes jQuery Tools on its own and you don’t need to do so in AdRotate.

AdRotate should use the already included library instead assuming the other plugin/theme loads the scripts in the right order.

    I’m with scr33ner…

“Include jQuery Tools” is the one causing the problem, but I can have either “Include jQuery” or “Include jQuery ShowOff” or “both” checked, and won’t have a problem.

But I’m not entirely sure if I need to have

    Include jQuery
    Include jQuery ShowOff

checked or not because the slider works fine without them?

AdRotate does not provide those libraries for your slider. But if by chance that (or another) plugin/theme already includes those you do not need to have AdRotate include them once more. That will cause conflicts.

Thus, if your site already includes jQuery tools, you can untick the box in AdRotate settings. In that event you probably also do not need to include jQuery from AdRotate either as that’s a dependancy for jQuery Tools.

If your other plugins or themes cause a conflict like this they do not use the right API call in WordPress which should prevent this kind of stuff. So the bug is with them.
