# update-links.php Error

 * I’m getting the following error when viewing my links list.
 * “Warning: fsockopen(): unable to connect to api.pingomatic.com:80 in /home/clydesho/
   public_html/wp-admin/update-links.php on line 26”
 * Doesn’t affect the links listing at all. I’m just not sure what is causing the
   errors.
 * The “update” check box in the link categories is unchecked.
 * Any help appreciated

 * This problem is persistent with me. You can refresh and the message goes away,
   but a few minutes later, it’s back. Is there some sort of workaround?
