# Update issues

 * We recently had to update the en spam plugin twice within a day or two of each
   other. When we updated it the second time, our site shut down and our server 
   company had to disable it.
 * Here’s what the message said: *Parse error*: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION
   in */hermes/waloraweb043/b1833/moo.tvgoodness/wp-content/plugins/en-spam/en-spam.
   php* on line *49*
 * After everything was disabled, we were then able to update en spam again. And
   our site stayed up. However, we started receiving lots of spam messages so I 
   don’t know if the update did anything.
 * Is there anything we should be doing now?

 * Hi. I not changed the spamblock and bots not supposed to succeed to comment.
