I updated to the latest version of the theme today and there are a couple of major problems.

On the shop page the Woocommerce sidebar now appears underneath rather than on the right-hand side where it was previously:
    http://muffinink.com/shop/

And on the blog page, which previously showed the whole post, including the images, the images and the formatting have now disappeared:
    http://muffinink.com/blog/

If I add a featured image, it appears above the title of the post on the individual post page, which I don’t want.

Can you solve either of these issues?

Hi, please go to your dashboard > Appearance > Widgets and add your widgets in the sidebar, do the same thing for the sop sidebar and tell me if it solve the problems.

Thanks very much for that. There were already widgets in the shop widget area, but they didn’t show as a sidebar until I added widgets to the standard sidebar.

Is there any way to show full posts on the blog page including the images and formatting?

Ok, thank you for the feedback i will solve the problem in the next theme update. The possibility to choose to display full content of posts or excerpts is possible in the premium version of the theme. You can do it also with a child theme editing the filter
    add_filter( 'igthemes_main_post_content', 'igthemes_loop_post_content')
but you need to know more about WordPress coding.

Hi, we just update the theme, let me know if the problem is fixed. Thank you

Thank you – just updated and the shop widgets area seems to work now even if there are no widgets in the standard sidebar area (but I have decided to keep this for now anyway).

I was also relieved to find that updating the theme did not affect my child theme – which the last update did (the logo in the heading disappeared, as did changes I made to colours and fonts).

Could you just tell me why you decided to remove the full content of posts from the free version when it was there before? Then I will get out of your hair. 🙂

    Many thanks.

You’re welcome, the previous update was a big update and it is normal that something is changed. We have made many new options available for free and improved theme coding and we have added more plugins supported. We have made a list of options available for free and options and a list of only ‘premium’ options, we have made the decision to remove the post excerpt or the featured image option because we prefer to maintain our preferred theme design as default, obviously who has experience in coding can change the theme design with the filter included(that i mentioned before). We love WordPress and we love our work but update constantly the themes requires time and work so we hope that who wants more deep costumizations for the themes helps us to improve they buying the premium version (doesn’t cost so much). I hope you appreciate our work and your feedback is important! If you like the theme please leave also a review. Thank you

Hi poemaxx we have just made the decision to add featured images and post excerpt options for free. Now you can set up the post layout via Customizer. Please, if like the theme leave a review!
    Best regards

Thanks very much for that – I do appreciate you acting on the feedback.

But after the last update a couple of days ago when a new header menu appeared I decided there were too many changes with every update. I’d set up a child theme precisely so I didn’t have to make radical changes to the CSS every time the theme updated.

So I’ve switched to a different theme for now.

Many thanks and best of luck with your theme.

I understand, however you can hide header menu leaving it blank, i think now the theme is stable and all future updates will improve only theme features that already exists.
    Best regards
