Update has lost theme formatting

    I have updated the Zion theme from 1.00 to 1.03 (and green lantern) and now the format looks completely different. Also there are no options for changing the layout or for turning on the slider as far as a I can see.

    What’s happened?

    Hi..

    Please go to admin Dashboard >>Appearance >>Customize >>Theme Options >>Theme General Options and checked the Show Front Page.

    Now Go to Admin Dashboard >>Settings >>Reading and checked your static page.

    Save the changes.

    Now Go to Admin Dashboard >>Settings >>Reading and checked your latest posts.

    Save the changes.

    I have done that and a slider has appeared but the whole page looks very different from the previous version of Zion. E.g. the menu is very different and now there is also a services section. This looks like a completely different theme!

    It is here and here is what it should look like.

    Hi,

    The theme you are using is not Green-lantern’s child theme.

    It is different theme.

    Then the trouble is that you are using the same name as another theme. When I updated mine it updated to your theme and wiped out the one I’d had. Someone needs to address that.

    Hi,

    WordPress.org not allow two themes with same name.

    If you download from other than WordPress then it shows update as per WordPress’s theme.
