# Update Gallery Author

   It says it has been resolved, but has not been. I am running the most up-to-date
   WP and NG and all of my server settings are on par with what you recommend.
 * Once I updated to the latest version of NG my ability to assign an author to 
   a gallery was lost. I am the administrator and I assign galleries to Authors 
   with permission to upload and manage their own gallery. I can no longer do that.
 * I see my author name, but no option to update it to who the gallery should belong
   to. Is this a feature that will be added back, or do I need to downgrade?

   option with NextGEN Gallery … and as requested in the other topic, which version
   of NextGEN Legacy are you referring to where this was possible?

 * The last version which allowed author to be changed was 2.0.33
 * How do I request this feature be added back, it’s important for how I use the
   plugin and the website for my client.
