Update from 6.1.16 to 6.3.12 fails

    LS,
    This evening I update WordPress to version 4.3.1 After that I updated several other plugins succesfully.
    The last one I tried to update was WPPA version 6.1.16 to 6.3.12 After a few minutes I received a message like “could not copy… ” ?? (sorry I didn’t see the message long enough. Now the whole plugin is gone. In FileZilla (…/mvsvsub/wp-content/plugins/wp-photo-album-plus) I can see that the content is all there. The tables in the database are also all there.
    The shortcodes in the pages are all there.

    What can I do; Should I simple reinstall 6.3.12 ???

    I tackled the problem I think…

    Following Jacob’s installation notes “Standard installation when not from the wp plugins page”, I downloaded and unzipped “wp-photo-album-plus.6.3.12.zip” and copied the content in the wp-content/plugins folder after backup and removing the old wppa plugin folder (that old one probably caused the problem). After that I activated the plugin in WP Admin -> Plugins.
    I had to take action: Table XIII / 16 “Fix tags”. Mission completed !

    After testing all seem to work fine !
