Update Failure

  • Hi there

    Problems with an update here…

I clicked the update button at the top of the WordPress Admin page and it skipped to the page where it tells you the progress of the download. I left it a good 5minutes and nothing had happened. I decided to click refresh and the page failed. I opened up a new window and tried to log in to my wordpress admin again and got this error message…

Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_taxonomies_for_attachments() in /websites/123reg/LinuxPackage21/ro/b_/_l/rob–lee.co.uk/public_html/apps/wp-admin/menu.php on line 67

I cannot enter my wordpress now and drastically need to make some changes to my website!

    Can anyone help?!

  • Please can someone help with this?

So I contacted 123-reg, they’ve just got back to me that they can restore it, i’ll need all content from it backed-up before I attempted the update, and it’ll cost me £15?! Does this sound right? I don’t know why I should have to pay anything…
