Update Failed | WordPress.org

This afternoon I updated to the newest version of WordPress. Now on my site (campthundercraft.com), anytime I try to make a backend edit, I get an error message “updating failed.” I’ve even tried switching back from block mode to classic mode, no difference.

Any thoughts?

Quick and easy troubleshooting step: Resave your Permalinks settings. It might fix it, but if not, then it won’t hurt anything and it’s quick and easy to do.

By resaving my permalinks do you just mean going to Settings–>Permalinks and clicking Save again? If so, that’s what I just did and nothing changed…

Right, so, that didn’t work.

Do you have a security plugin of any sort? Check its settings to make sure that you do not disable the REST API.

If you have any caching plugins, or Cloudflare, or anything of the sort there, clear those caches.
