Update fail with 1&1.com

    Hey there,

    It’s months now that I have been trying to update my wordpress without success. It’s really time to make it happen!

    When I login via the admin panel and do the automatic update, this happens:

    Unpacking the update…

    Could not copy files.

    Installation Failed

    I’ve also tried a manual update via FTP (replacing everything except the folder wp-content with the update) nothing seemed to have changed. I’m still asked to do the update.
