# Update does not work

 * I installed the newest update, version 0.3.17, and it crashed my site. I had 
   to restore my site from the last backup. Other than this, it’s been a great plugin.
   I use it to stop spam registrations.

 * Same thing happened to me, so I’m now using another captcha (“Captcha” by BestWebSoft
   [http://wordpress.org/plugins/captcha/](http://wordpress.org/plugins/captcha/)).
 * I restored my blog simply by deleting the wp-content/plugins/funcaptcha/ directory
   on the server.

 * The issue is fixed in version 0.3.18.
