Even 0.5Mb picture uploads faile. Those in a few hundred Kb seem to be OK. What is limiting the upload and where can I set it?

    Hi @palmdoc,

Sorry to hear of the problem you are having.

Are you adding the image using image uploader or using its URL?

Is the image getting uploaded fine in the media library from admin are of your site?

Could you please share me your activity page link so that i can troubleshoot it?

    Kind Regards,

Hi Guys this is a WordPress 4.0 update issue, even reverting back to a previous version doesn’t fix the problem.

I tried this plugin with the hope that it might fix the issue mentioned above, I was excited to see your plugin generate a thumbnail and thought i had found a work around, but as soon as i hit the add photo button the post just vanishes, I am more than happy to let a dev have access to my beta website so they can find the issue?

    Hi @jersey peeps,

To help keep support tickets separate, could you please open a new thread for your new question here https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/buddypress-activity-plus

This helps to prevent any confusion and as per the Forum Welcome, you should post your own topic and I’m sure you understand.

This might also help other members looking for a similar answer. 🙂

    Thanks,

I fixed it by adding a refresh in the AP code so it refreshes right after you ADD image. I changed the ADD to “POST” also. Glad it’s open source.

I think this requires a DEV to fix cause I had to Hard Code the source.

    Hi there,

I have tested it on my WordPress 4.1 single test site using latest version of BuddyPress, BuddyPress Activity Plus plugins & Twenty Twelve theme and found it’s working fine. I have also tested it using images more than 1Mb in size.

It sometime displays “Load Newest” link before displaying the image as shown in this screenshot http://i.imgur.com/gUrFzhE.png but it’s the default functionality of BuddyPress.

Are you getting the above same behavior?

    Regards,
    Vinod Dalvi
