# Update database problem

 * I updated my WP 1.5 to to 2.5.1 but when I ran the update.php and clicked to 
   update the database it gave me an open/download file. I chose open and it tried
   to update my database. It showed an error before each operation then said my 
   database was updated.
 * My blog now showed completely blank and when I re-run the update.php it says 
   it doesn’t need conversion. I’ve looked at my database manually and it seems 
   all my posts and data is there but obviously in the wrong or missing places. 
   How can I get the update.php to run the database updater again and successfully
   this time?

 * Opps. I missed a setting in the wp-config.php file. That seems to have resolved
   the problem and the database is now updated properly.
