Just updated plugin and site crashed with a Installation failed: HTTP/2.0 500.

Had plugin de-activated and site back up.

    Wordpress 4.7.4

  • same for me. I wonder is there is the older version available somewhere?

Same with me. Had to uninstall all seriously simple products. Says missing header file.

    It crashed my website too!

If you backup your website and know how to connect to it with a ftp you can follow the instructions here to reinstall the previous version (the previous version will be inside your backup). This worked for me: https://webdesignsbyterri.com/how-to-restore-your-wordpress-site/

I’d love to know when this problem is fixed.

Very sorry for the trouble with this. We’re working on the fix and updating the release now and will have it live ASAP. In the meantime you can roll back to v1.15.2.

I will update here once we’ve updated the repo and tested things out thoroughly.

We have updated the v1.16 release and it’s working as expected now. Feel free to update the plugin anytime.

Again, sorry for any trouble this may have caused you all.

If you need anything else just let us know.

    Hi Craig,

WP doesn’t seem to “understand” that there’s an updated 1.16 version – I can’t update it because I already have 1.16 (the broken one). What should I do here?

    Downgrade first, then upgrade again.

Yes downgrading and then upgrading will work, or you can delete the plugin files via FTP or File Manager and then install fresh from there.

Let me know if you need anything else and sorry for the troubles.

I have not tried that. I had to uninstall with FTP before I got my site back. Then I tried upgrading but it was the missing header error. So I presume this has been corrected and I will try again. Hopefully this update also corrected the issue with the mobile version player.

    Hi Craig,

Just wanted to update everyone that I installed the new fix and it works like a charm! Excellent work everyone! I will report back later on the mobile version player issue. Have not tested it yet.
