Update crashed blog

    Tried to install WordPress Move plugin into WordPress Ver 3.1. Crashed my working blog – did reload from backup copy – no good. How can I install Ver. 3.3 (or Ver 3.1) over corrupted version and save my data. Understand I cannot log into wp-admin. I am down!

    Using ftp rename the plugin WordPress Move in wp-conetent/plugins that caused the problem.

    As long as you have backup of your database as that is where you data is saved and wp-content folder where your plugins,themes.and uploads are you should be fine.

    You need to replace all files and folders except wp-content folder and wp-config.php.

    Restore your your database and see if it works
