Hi, this update crashed my site. Here are the details:

Version 1.0.98 | By Rank Math | View details
This plugin failed to load properly and is paused during recovery mode.

An error of type E_PARSE was caused in line 124 of the file …/wp-content/plugins/seo-by-rank-math/includes/admin/class-assets.php. Error message: syntax error, unexpected ‘)’

It seems like the installation did not complete.

Please update to the latest version to fix that error.

Also, we recommend upgrading your PHP to at least 7.4 as we no longer support 7.2 for security reasons.

Even WordPress also recommends using at least PHP 7.4:

Hello
I updated to v.1.0.98.2 and experiensed fatal errors under php v.8.01
WP version is 5.8.5
After I rolled back to php 7.4 this version gives no errors.

It seems to be working fine on our end.

Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins, themes, and WordPress (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.

Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.
