The update to latest has caused the subscriber widget to disappear from the sidebar on all of my sites.

There is a subscriber widget available on the Widgets screen in Admin, but the widget previously on the site before the update is gone.

Which means that I will have to go through all of the sites (and all of the subsites) to add the widget to the sidebar.

I suppose that I will have to do it along with the database update that is required on all sites (that has to be done manually). But you just caused another several hours of work because of the update.

    Hi @rhellewellgmailcom ,

Have you updated to Email Subscriber 4.0.1.
We have fixed this issue in latest version of Email Subscribers.
Please try it and let us know how it goes?

I have updated to version 4.02. Still have the following issues:

    1) Database upgrade message shown on all subsites in a nultisite installation. Even after updating the sites yesterday (before the 4.02 update was installed).

Any database update should be done as part of the plugin update process.

    2) The Email Subscriber’s widget that previously was on all the subsites is still missing. That means that I have to recreate the widget (and it’s description text) on every single subsite. What fun! (NOT !!)

    3) The 4.02 update fixed the missing description on a newly installed/created subscriber widget.

    4) The 4.02 update has spacing problems on the form fields description and input area in the widget. The spacing was not a problem in prior version. The field description and input area are squised next to each other.

    5) I have not tried a post update (automatic) mailing yet, but have low expectations of that working based on other user’s support messages.

    Still not a happy camper….
