Update button doesn't work!

    No longer is my update button working correctly. Thus, I am forced to rely on the WordPress automatic updates which usually don’t operate as they should. So much of my work never does get saved and writing in WordPress has now become such a tedious task that takes so much of my time. How can I get this malfunction fixed so that I can get back to writing the way that I always have been? This problem has persisted for about 2 days, now… with no end in sight.

    Which update button are you referring to, and on which screen?

    I’m referring to the big, blue “update” button to the right of the edit screen. To save all your edits, you click this button. When I click it now, there is a delay and then a “Cannot Find” screen from my website is what comes up. I then go back to WordPress and re-click “edit” for the page I had been working on and, if I’m lucky, the automatic updates have saved most everything. But, many times, the automatic updates don’t even kick in. And I have lost a lot of work.
