@azoloeaglesun Very sorry about the mess up. We have released an update to fix the issue. Please update the plugin now.
@azoloeaglesun
Thanks again for flagging the issue so quickly. We fixed it right after your report and the patched version is now live. If everything is working fine on your side after the update, it would mean a lot if you could revisit your rating. Reviews have a big impact on small teams like ours, and your updated experience would help others trust the plugin.
Appreciate your help and patience.
I appreciate how quickly you fixed the issue, Aravind, however I can’t remember the last time a plugin update destroyed an entire site which is what happened to several of our sites because we do use your plugin extensively. Every site looked broken: layouts amiss, images not loading, every instance of Gravity Forms a garbled mass of code. As is, we couldn’t gamble with sites down, and your site offers no links to previous versions, so we had to scramble to pull an older version from a backup, ftp that across sites and turn off auto updates on sites that hadn’t yet updated your plugin — that was a huge disruption in the workday. (And it was sheer luck that I had just updated only your plugin, as had it updated automatically overnight or something like that, we’d have been troubleshooting for hours.)
So yes, you have lost a good measure of trust for pushing out that apparently untested update (as well as the security vulnerability WordFence called out on this plugin a couple months ago). Two stars feels generous at this point, and you’re getting those because your plugin has been so useful. Recent events are however making us reconsider sticking with it going forward.
