• Updating your plugin, broke the entire admin area. Had to delete the plugin folder and use our old version to get back up and running. Looks like I’m not the only one. Other people are having the same issue. Plugin always worked well before, but now your updates are taking sites down and you’re removing features. No bueno. We’ll just stay on the version we are on.

  • Same problem here. I don’t have enough permissions or so.

Had to remove the plugin via FTP to restore access. I’m also not amused by removing features.

Normally you ADD features for a premium product, but Joost thinks it’s better to REMOVE features from the free version.

I have removed the plugin completely now and I’m looking for a better solution.

Bye bye Joost… It was good, but now you’re crippling the plugin, breaking thousands of sites. Best way to lose a lot of users.

PS.: just saw that after removing Yoast SEO the complete site (front end) was broken. Nice work Yoast! Building in something sneaky to force people to keep using your crapware?

So I was FORCED to reinstall the old version and the site works again. Now I need to find out WHY yoast is completely breaking the site when you remove it, fix that and THEN ditch this piece of CRAPWARE for good.
