  • Same exact FATAL ERROR

Also had to remove via FTP to get my site back up…it was completely down!

    Please Help!

    Thanks

you can just comment out line 18 and line 34 in themes/genesis/lib/widgets/widgets.php
you can then run the new plugin, and see how to set it all up through the guide.
this is obviously a core change to the parent theme, but it get you in business.
hope this helps, it helped me 🙂

Had different problems. The plugin caused a white out of the right hand pane in the wordpress admin interface. There might have a been a conflict with another plugin but deleting the Genesis Latest Tweets plugin with FTP fixed the problem.

Recommend that you avoid this version.

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class Genesis_Latest_Tweets_Widget

You have two copies of the plugin installed at the same time. Or you have an outdated version of Genesis installed.

If you do not have the latest version of Genesis you should update to the latest version before updated Genesis specific plugins.

Well, everything is up-to-date, so that apparently means the upgrade process is suspect (i.e.two copies of the plugin installed). I did not try uninstalling everything and then installing only the newest version.
