# Update breaks RSS Feed

 * The RSS feed was broken on our production site after updating Query Monitor. 
   We confirmed this on our development site by updating the plugin. We’re guessing
   one of the PHP files within the plugin has an extra space.

 * I am seeing this issue too.
 * Chrome message when trying to view feed for site the plugin is activated on.
 * This page contains the following errors:
 * error on line 2 at column 6: XML declaration allowed only at the start of the
   document
    Below is a rendering of the page up to the first error.
 * There is a line-feed being introduced by the plugin somewhere. It looks like 
   all responses have a space. Just look at the page source and notice the blank
   line at the top.

 * I’m unable to reproduce this issue and, having double-checked QM’s output, I’m
   pretty sure that it’s not outputting any unwanted whitespace.
 * Can you try re-installing QM from a fresh download, or via the Plugins -> Add
   New screen in the WordPress admin interface? It may be that one of the files 
   has gained some whitespace during its transfer.
