 * First of all, I want to say how much I appreciate that you’ve forked this. Exact
   Metrics RUINED Google Analytics Dashboard for WP.
 * I’d love to see your plugin succeed and have been replacing GADWP on all my sites
   with Metrics Query. I’m just a tiny bit concerned that there have been no updates
   for 5 months, esp. with 5.5 coming soon… With two versions, no updates in 5 months,
   and only 300+ active installs, on paper it doesn’t look like a plugin many people
   would want to choose.
 * I see on a support thread from 4+ months ago you said you had an update planned,
   but it appears to not have been released.
 * Looking forward to your response – cheers!
 * PS. Looking at the Exact Metrics GADWP reviews, there are a LOT of people unhappy
   with the changes, especially right after they released 6.0… might be something
   to tap into

 * You are correct, but the plugin base code is solid so no changes were needed.
   
   I’m still want to add some improvements but they are not urgent.
 * WordPress 5.5 will not have an effect.
