Update 5.6.1 breaks my website

For those of you using the Theme My Login plugin, you can try adding the following filter to your site to bypass Force Login for your custom login URL:

/**
 * Bypass Force Login to allow for exceptions.
 *
 * @param bool $bypass Whether to disable Force Login. Default false.
 * @param string $visited_url The visited URL.
 * @return bool
 */
function my_forcelogin_bypass( $bypass, $visited_url ) {
  // Allow login screen
  if ( function_exists('tml_is_wp_login') && tml_is_wp_login() ) {
    $bypass = true;
  }
  return $bypass;
}
add_filter( 'v_forcelogin_bypass', 'my_forcelogin_bypass', 10, 2 );

(this is untested code)

Removing Force Login should not affect any data stored in your database. However, please backup your site before making any changes/updates to be safe.

Lastly, if you try adding the bypass filter I suggested, you shouldn’t need to downgrade Force Login.

Given the amount of feedback I’m getting about this issue, I’ve updated the plugin code to hopefully fix this issue.

Please download the latest development version from Github and let me know if this fixes your issue.
