Will this plugin be updated for wordpress 4.8.1? i installed it but it doesn’t seem to be doing anything. I really need the “create new topic restrictions” and subscriptions controls (I think the mentions is a cool feature too), but I have zero experience with web design. Is there any way to get it to work with this version?

Hi,
The plugin should be working fine on 4.8.1. Did you activate what you wanted under ‘Tools > bbP Toolkit’?

Yes I activated it and turned on the settings I wanted. I also made sure to download latest trunk (dev) version of the plugin. Could it be a theme issue? We’re using a custom Divi theme.

Apparently the subscriptions did work, but not mentions or forum restrictions

You just have bbPress, right? Because there is no support for BuddyPress group forums.
