I have the latest version of WP and it does work.
Have you tried:
* Deactivating / Activating the plugin
* Re-saving your Permalinks
* After doing the above, make sure you close / reopen your browser and/or clear the cache
This worked for me when I was having an issue after the upgrade to WP 4.1.
What is the problem with it working for you?
The problem was fixed thanks to peggyst suggestion.
But do you have an ETA? I want to make sure no updates are done on the site until I know that the Event plugin will work. Losing its abilities would be awful for the site.

No ETA I’m only an Admin on here and not the actual author. It works fine on all om my installations using the latest WordPress version, and actually the 4.2 Beta version on a test site.
Which plugin was conflicting with it and what was the issue?
