Update 1.0.13 Error: No display of Easy Rotator

    Updating to WordPress 4.3 and Easy Rotator 1.0.13 gives the following error message:

    Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at D:\Server2Go\htdocs\wordpress\wp-includes\functions.php:3457) in D:\Server2Go\htdocs\wordpress\wp-includes\pluggable.php on line 1207

    Display of Easy Rotator as can be seen at Bootjesgek.nl stopped (luckily) in my offline test version at S2G. I will wait to update on the online version.

    Hi @mccage,

    I’m sorry you’re experiencing trouble. Can you please confirm both the WordPress and EasyRotator plugin versions you were using before? If you were using EasyRotator version 1.0.12, you can download the archived version from here. I suspect from your errors that there may actually be a conflict with some other plugin, as we haven’t had any other users report compatibility issues with 4.3 or upgrade issues with 1.0.13.

    Sorry to have bothered you; the problem was not in the update of Easy Rotator but in the update of the Magazine Basic Theme. This update broke some functions in the Magazine Compact Child such as some extra widget spaces I added to the parent theme. One of this spaces is used to display the Easy Rotator in a feature box in the top of the Homepage.

    Topic resolved I hope; work has still to be done to adapt the Compact Magazine Child Theme.
