Update 10.1.0 Removes the og:image:alt tag

My sites traffic fares well in Google Search results, Thanks Yoast! But I am concerned with Update 10.1.0 ( Removes the og:image:alt tag as it causes potential accessibility issues when content is shared via Facebook.) My traffic is pretty heavy due to my nearly 400K Facebook followers. My current site is my third and I have never had any issues with Facebook shares handling featured images until said update. I found numerous FB page post missing the images in the following days, I ultimately had to roll back Yoast to version 10.0.1, delete and replace over 10 featured images due to Facebook Debugger failing. After rollback where og:image:alt was again present, Debugger worked normally. All is working fine now, except the uncomfortable feeling of not having a plugin current. Respectfully
