Update 1.447 reverted site to “minimal” layout and undefined width
-
I updated from v. 1.446 to v. 1.447 today, and the theme turned to the “minimal” colors scheme from the one I had it set to “dark”, and the layout changed from box responsive to full responsive. It was able to be reset to the proper color settings, but obviously it shouldn’t be changing settings on update.

Sorry.
My site is all messed up and not being savvy on CSS or blogging, I not sure how to fix it all. My widgets are not showing up because I not sure how to fix the color schemes in the fonts. I tried to fix my colors on my headings and the colors are all wrong…. So upset over last update.
Seems this happened across the board. I had not updated to latest version of raindrops and have again lost all custom settings by itself.
@nobita
This is becoming very frustrating for your themes users including myself. This is an issue that seems to resurface a lot.anyway to fix permanently?

On my build, the problem isn’t as bad as previous issues, it’s only resetting those 2 elements, and they’re not locked out. Once I changed the color scheme back to “dark” and changed the layout to “box responsive”, it accepted both settings and returned to my original designs.
Honestly, this is one of the most versatile themes I’ve seen on WordPress and I don’t want nobita to get discouraged, it’s a good design, there are just quirks.
I agree 100% i have been using this theme for over 3 years. Just recently there has been bugs. not sure why I cant seem to figure them out on my end.
Sorry for giving frustration

$raindrops_base_setting_args is most basic theme configration.
This value is the setting used when installing for the first time and data not saved in customizer.
If you update the theme with default settings, the theme will set a new value.
I will test the update by changing the value of the customizer variously when testing the update.
I have done a lot of tests and thought it was reasonable not to affect people who had not already operated the site,
but, this was the fundamental problem of this problem
In other words, those who like the dark design do not bother changing their settings.
So, it was to give big frustration to those who liked the initial design of the themeI noticed that it needed a customizer function to save all setting values.
I apologize that I could not foresee such a problem.
