Support » Plugin: RestaurantPress » Update 1.32 ->1.41 breaks many things

Since Plugin-Version 1.41 many things are broken:

    1. Prices are shown without the decimals, e.g. € 23.90 shows as € 23.00 (which renders the Price-Tag/Plugin unusuable)!
    2. On Frontpage-Widget red prices are shown on a red label, which renders the prices invisible!
    3. Somehow the order/sorting of the menu-positions were changed. Now it uses the date/time of the post creation.

This Plugin used to work somehow, when it was created by “Themegrill”. Now it say, that it is a “wpeverst”-Plugin. I think, everbody should stay with the old version 1.32, since the uptdate to 1.41 is full ob bugs…

    Hey @peterantler71,

Regarding the 1st issue we support rounding the numbers so if the number of decimal is greater it will round off the number but it will not display € 23.90 as € 23.00. But if the Number of decimal in RestaurantPress > Settings is 0 (By default it is 2) then it will display as € 24.

I was able to replicate second issue in twentysixteen theme. The invisible price display was because of ins and del tag style which was not overridden and was reflected from theme style.css. We will fix it asap in the version update.

And finally we were not able to replicate the third issue if you could help us to replicate we will be glad to help.

    Thanks!

Please do update RestaurantPress to fix the issue invisible price 🙂

    Hello,

Reviving this thread since I have experienced similar issues with 2 of the 3 items mentioned from the op.

    http://lbkcraft.com/en/menus/
    2. I currently have version 1.3.2 installed because when I tried to install the last two major updates, the price display completely changed. I have the white price on red background currently set for prices, but the update removes that formatting and leaves the prices black on white with a gap between the currency symbol and the first digit of the price.

    3. The display order of my menu items ignores the order number I set for each item, and only adds new items at the bottom of the list in the order I posted them. For example, the five items most recently added tonight under Vegan & Vegetarian are not sorted in the list according to the menu item order number.

Love RestaurantPress, and just need these two items resolved to make it a perfect menu display system.

    Cheers!
