Upcoming Events Linking to Details Page

Hi,

I’m using a shortcode to display a list view of upcoming events. These are single line items with just the ‘date’ and ‘title’. I would like users to click on the title to go to the main page for that specific event.

However, I cannot seem to be able to make the title link to the details. I’ve tried using {title} as well as {link_title}. I either get a plain-text non-linked title or it gets linked to the ‘more details’ external URL. {details} gives me a ‘Read More’ link.

Is there a way to build the template so that the title links to its own event details page?
