Unwanted white space

On this site I’m working on, using Formation, I’m trying to use background images on various pages. But the bar at the top of each page seems to have a white background attached to it. There’s this white area at the very top at the page that stops at around the middle of the top bar, covering the background image, making it look as if it’s the background image that suddenly stops at the middle of the top bar.

Does anyone know if and how I can get rid of this white area?
