    Hi, when adding a tiled gallery into my posts, no mather if I do it from the WYSIWYG editor or from the HTML editor, after publishing it and looking into the sourcecode of the page, you can see empty paragraphs.

    When the gallery follows after some text, only <p></p> is added below the gallery. On a page without any text, it is added above and below the gallery.

    This messes up my layout. How can I prevent WordPress from doing this?

    Kind regards,

    Willem

    WordPress does not do that. Maybe a plugin or your theme? Have you tried deactivating all plugins and switching to the default theme to find out what adds those empty paragraphs/ unwanted tags?

    As Krishna says, it’s not a normal WP behaviour.
    However,after following the steps Krishna provided,if nothing changes, try using Remove P plugin.

    Okey, thanks you all, I will try and let you know.

    @media X, @krishna,

    You both are right. It’s not normal when I test it on a clean install.
    Thanks for your help.

    Kind regards,

    Willem
