Unwanted switch to GA4

    Looks like my analytics have been wiped out to zeroes over the past few days. My property isn’t a GA4 property, but looking at the Property Details, it does seem that it’s no longer receiving data from MonsterInsights:

    Property Hit Volume
    Last day: No hits
    Last 7 Days: 3,744 hits
    Last 30 Days: 27,987 hits

    I do see that MonsterInsights was updated on 2/11/21 from version 7.15.1 to 7.16.0. This correlates to a precipitous drop in traffic in GA on the 11th, and basically zeros across the next three days (most likely coming from cached data from Ezoic).

    I can’t locate the GA tag method in MonsterInsights anymore, and I can’t assume that MI would just force this switch upon its users without the ability to roll back to the previous method.

    Please help us all out here, this is pretty poor update etiquette.

    It’s hard to tell what the issue is without knowing what site url this is for, but the last update should not affect the site’s ability to track.

    I would recommend getting in touch with our support team at MonsterInsights.com/lite-support/ and they should be able to help you out from there

    Oh yeah, forgot to include that. Alright, well, just sent a support request at the lite support URL, so, fingers crossed.
