I would like to know how to fix this as well.
@astrachan – Are you setting specific dimensions for the slideshow in its setting when you inserted it via the ATP or under Gallery > Gallery Settings > NextGEN Basic Slideshow?
– Cais.
Yes – these are set at a specific pixel width and height. Do I need to use percentage instead? Or leave it blank?
@astrachan – I would suggest leaving both parameters blank or leaving the height parameter blank to see how that works within your theme.
Are the dimensions you are using greater than the images in the gallery, especially those with the “space” problem?
– Cais.
It’s not possible to leave the parameters blank – if you try it says “Please fill out the field”
> Are the dimensions you are using greater than the images in the gallery, especially

The dimensions I’m using match those of the images; it’s just when the browser is resized to mobile width that the space appears.
It is not possible to leave the dimensions parameters blank in Gallery Settings > NextGEN Basic Slideshow.
Could you advise?
@astrachan – My apologies, leaving a dimension blank will definitely not help.
Are all of the images the same size and orientation? I know that if there are varying orientations this will definitely happen but I have not sorted out why.
– Cais.
Hi Cais
Yes – they are all the same size and orientation: 720 x 480
Alistair
@astrachan – Thanks for those details. I’ve written this up for our developers to review. I can see it happening but I cannot tell why at the moment.
– Cais.
Hi Cais
Have you had any feedback from the developers about this?
Thanks
Alistair
Hmm – well looks like I’ll have to find an alternative gallery plugin then
Did you find an answer to this astrachan
No – they have passed it on to the developers, but no response yet. Are you having the same issue?
Hi Guys,
Any updates with the developers if they’d already has a fix on this? It already taken a lot of hours from me figuring the fix of this issue. Would appreaciate any help on this. Thanks!
All – This appears to be due to one of the jQuery libraries we are using at this time but beyond that I do not have much more for details or an ETA when this specific issue will be addressed.
– Cais.
