# Unwanted Redirection

 * For some reason wordpress is redirecting a post url, for example, website.com/
   car-insurance-broker to website.com/car-insurance-brokers. So there is no way
   for the user to access the post on website.com/car-insurance-broker. I checked
   the myphpadmin for redirects, and there is no active redirect for this URL. Is
   there another place I can check to remove this redirect?

 * Hmm, I had the URL set to [http://auto-buying-tips.com/auto-insurance-broker/](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/unwanted-redirection/?output_format=md)
   earlier and it wasn’t working. I just switched the URL back and it is working
   now :D.
 * Since I have you here, I have another issue on one my other sites
 * [http://blackmoldremovalguide.com/black-mold-removal/](http://blackmoldremovalguide.com/black-mold-removal/)
   when I’m editing the post and click view post, it takes me to this URL which 
   says it does not exist. I’m confused because the post exists from the admin panel
   with the same URL.

 * I think this may be a permalink issue because you’re using just /%postname%/ 
   in your custom structure. Try resetting your custom permalinks back to the default
   setting. If that works, then try reading [Using_Permalinks](http://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Permalinks)
   before setting a custom permalink structure back up again.

 * I’m having a problem too!
 * I created a page [http://www.motherhooddiaries/articles/21-june-2010](http://www.motherhooddiaries/articles/21-june-2010),
   then deleted it because everytime I typed [http://www.motherhooddiaries.com](http://www.motherhooddiaries.com),
   it would automatically transfer to the first url. Even when deleted, the static
   page (www.motherhooddiaries.com) transfers to the deleted page. How can I change
   this?

 * leylap, I am having the same problem recently. After publishing a page, can access
   home page ([http://benkyo.pl](http://benkyo.pl)), instead WP takes me to this
   last page…
 * Could anyone help us?
