Unwanted p tag in excerpt

    Despite using ‘remove_filter( ‘the_excerpt’, ‘wpautop’ );’ I now have unwanted p tags when using <?php the_excerpt(); ?>.

    I can’t see why this is happening.

    UPDATE: Seems to be caused by the ‘All-in-One Event Calendar’ plugin. I’ve no idea why, or how to fix this.
