    In “mobile mode” (or small window width with desktop browser) there is an annoying border around the three bars representing the menu when it is clicked or has focus. Same with the magnifying glass.

    Please help me remove it as I couldn’t do it when trying with different “solutions” at various places in the css.

  • This is being set by your browser when an item is being focused on

    :focus {
        outline: -webkit-focus-ring-color auto 5px;

    However, you can override this using the following CSS

    .navigation-inner :focus {
    	outline: none;

    It didn’t work at first try, but later when I moved the code snippet some 40 lines down in the CSS.
