Support » Fixing WordPress » Unwanted blocks scattered around the page editor

  • Hello,

When I create new buttons inside a page, using the Gutenberg feature, there are always other blocks that are created automatically below the action I have made. For more details here is a screenshot of what I see in my page editor: https://ibb.co/sbkjPD1

Is it a normal behavior or it’s an issue of the theme?

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Cheers!

  • Hello @bliss07

    • Does this occurs when you use another browser?
    • When you create a new page do you see these blocks automatically?

    Best,

    Hello @obt28,

It occurs when I create a new page. I’ve used only one browser so far, chrome.

I have these icons all over the editor, even if creating a new blank page.

Any idea? Could it be the theme I am using? I know that wordpress has changed the HTML markup of the Gutenberg columns without any fallback.

@bliss07 are you using a touch screen device or is any of your keyboard pressing down without you noticing it?

Try accessing your WordPress from Chrome incognito mode or from another browser then create a new blank page lets see if the issue persist.
